Shake Shack - Cue the BBQ!
I love love looooovee Shake Shack. I fell in love with the chain years ago when I first tried it in New York. The burgers are my absolute favorite and my usual order is a Shackburger, a fries, and on greedy occasions, a hot dog to add. I’m not going to write about their burgers, because everyone (hopefully) knows that a) they are fantastic b) way higher in quality than pretty much any other “fast food” outlet and c) they are fantastic.
Anyway, so when I found out that they were adding some BBQ inspired items to the menu, I was super excited to try it out.
The BBQ Shackmeister burger is their classic Cheeseburger topped with crispy ShackMeister Ale marinated shallots and Shack BBQ sauce –The BBQ sauce, which takes inspiration from regional BBQ styles, adds a great flavor to the burger, but those shallots are EVERYTHING. Crispy and uber tasty, I want them on everything!
The BBQ Chick'N Shack is a version of their chicken sandwich, with a crispy chicken breast, BBQ sauce, and pickles and was my favorite! Now, I’ve never had the chicken sandwich at Shake Shack before, so I was pleasantly surprised with this one! Perfectly crispy chicken breast, nestled between their signature potato bun, and the tasty BBQ sauce made for one lovely sandwich.
Can’t not get the fries, right? The BBQ Bacon cheese fries takes their Classic crinkle fries and smothers it in bacon, cheese and Shack BBQ sauce. You just can’t go wrong with all of those things together.
Pair that with one of the three new seasonal shakes: Mint Cookies & Cream (mint frozen custard blended with chocolate wafer cookie crumbles and topped with whipped cream), Mud Pie (marshmallow frozen custard blended with fudge and coffee, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles) and Salted Vanilla Toffee (salted vanilla frozen custard blended with toffee and topped with whipped cream) and CALL IT A DAY.
Only available for a limited time, so go see for yourself what it’s all about. Go soon. Go NOW.
Hopefully you know your Shake Shack location well, but look it up HERE otherwise!
